Bereavement Support

 

The Health and Wellbeing Supports available in Crieff High School as shown here will be available to support young people throughout this time.

 

  • The Pupil Support Teams are here to support any young person affected by the recent bereavement.  Please click on the House name for contact details.

  • LOGOS Youth Project will also be available to support young people either in school or in the local community. Please contact them if you wish to speak with them.
  • The Educational Psychology Service are offering support drop in sessions on Tuesday 23rd & Thursday 25th 1-3 pm.  Please contact your guidance teacher if you wish to attend or please contact them by phone or email.
  • Community Link Worker – Dave Graham will be available to support young people.

Online Support – Young People

In addition, there are specific online resources to support young people through Trauma and Loss.

 

Young Minds

Provides free, 24/7 text support for young people across the UK experiencing a mental health crisis.

All texts are answered by trained volunteers, with support from experienced clinical supervisors.

Texts are free from EE, O2, Vodafone, 3, Virgin Mobile, BT Mobile, GiffGaff, Tesco Mobile and Telecom Plus.

Texts can be anonymous, but if the volunteer believes you are at immediate risk of harm, they may share your details with people who can provide support.

 Offers practical support and guidance to bereaved children, their families and professionals.

Online chat service available for young people (1pm – 5pm, Tuesdays & Fridays).
