Campus Leader / Headteacher
It is my honour and privilege to welcome you to Crieff High School, Strathearn Community Campus. I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Crieff High School and I am proud of our collective achievements since joining our school in October 2018. I look forward to celebrating many more successes with you over the coming years as we realise our collective vision for our school community. In school year 2022/2023, we engaged in a comprehensive review of the CHS vision, values and aims, with staff, young people and parents and a new vision statement for Crieff High School was co-created:
Our vision: A rights respecting school that nurtures, encourages and inspires young people to be the best they can be.
Our values: Determination Confidence Community Teamwork Encouragement Trust

Gold is the highest accolade given by UNICEF UK and shows a deep and thorough commitment to children’s rights at all levels of school life. We have been working with UNICEF UK since April 2019 receiving our Silver certificate in May 2021.
Crieff High School is the 27th secondary school in Scotland and the 1st secondary school in Perth & Kinross Council to receive the Gold award. In March 2025, our nurturing schools journey has been acknowledged by Perth & Kinross Council as they have awarded Crieff HS with Nurturing relationships Level 2 accreditation.

Our school priorities
Our collaborative approaches to self-evaluation have identified areas of strengths and areas where opportunities for improvement exist. We have strategically planned to improve outcomes for young people by identifying 3 areas of school improvement. These are:
We recognise that excellent learning and teaching supports young people to improve their attainment and achievement outcomes. This will support them here at Crieff High School, and also when they decide to leave us to enter a positive, sustainable destination such as University, College, Employment, Volunteering or Training.
Within outcomes for young people we have identified a further 4 areas of priority, namely:
Young people throughout the course of the school year will be asked for their views on the above areas, across all subject areas, to support our self-evaluation on how we can further enhance the learning and teaching experience to improve outcomes for young people.
Please be in touch at CrieffHigh@pkc.gov.uk particularly if you have a success story to share.
Everyone is welcome at Strathearn Community Campus.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
